Experience the joy of different style of Yoga, Meditation and Self-discovery surrounded by the magical beauty of Nature in Finnish Lapland. It is time for endless nights, WHITE NIGHTS. One must experience it while meditating and being with a beautiful group of people from all over world. Take a break from your daily life and come to unwind with us.  On this Rejuvenating Finland Yoga retreat, you will reconnect to your body, mind, and spirit by recharging your system with Asana, Pranayama and Meditation every morning and evening. 

Retreat Included;

  •   6 Nights Accommodation at a traditional Finnish log house (separate toilets and bath, sauna)
  •   2 Vegetarian Meals per day (Brunch/Dinner) coffee/tea
  •   Group transfers from airport/train/or bus terminal
  •   Night Meditation Sessions on beautiful Lapland.

  •   Yoga sessions and guidance by the teachers

Please book your flights to arrive before the 4pm airport/city transfer, and to depart after 12noon for the airport transfer.

Things to do at The Retreat Center:

  • Rowing on the lake, swimming and sunbathing (depending on the weather of course).

  • Bicycle driving.

  • area1Hike in the surrounding areas.

  • Plenty of frisbees are provided. Length frisbee golf course that starts right next to the accommodation.

  • If some of the participants eat fish, it can be fished from the lake with the equipments that are also provided. (We assist you in fishing and cooking the catch when needed.)

Yoga;

lake 2This retreat is open for all levels of practitioners. Yoga styles will be Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Yoga. Vinyasa Yoga and Meditation sessions will be taught by Begum and Suzie. 1 day  Ashtanga Yoga Workshop will be  guided by KPJAYI Authorized Teacher, Bela Lipat. 

Accommodations;

The retreat site is by the lake and surrounded by the forests. They are your choice of single, twin sharing, triple, or quadruple rooms in a
renovated traditional 2 floor
Finnish log house from 1890’s. The tranquil and idyllic setting is located
60kms from Rovaniemi, at a lakeside in the wilderness of Lapland.

Day 7: Morning Class, Brunch, Departure by 12noon

  • 7-10am Meditation, Breathwork, and Asana practice
  • 10-12noon Brunch

Suzie BIOGRAPHY:

Suzie Heijari grew up in Finland and danced from an early age.  She received her finlandretreatB.A.in dance, in 1994, at Mount Holyoke College, USA. She is a vinyasa yoga teacher since 2013. She has over 20 years of experience teaching dance, fitness and exercise. She is life coach since 2011 and has experience in energy healing, nutrition and even tarot cards. She will lead discussions and life coaching sessions in addition to yoga and meditation. Suzie is a native Finn, but lived many years abroad. She returned back to Finland to teach yoga in Turku just last summer.

Bela Lipat:

Bela has been teaching Yoga since 1996. Born in the Philippines, and raised in
San Francisco, California, Bela was introduced to Yoga, Vedanta and Buddhist practices in her childhood by her mother.  She practiced Sivananda Yoga for 10years and tried other styles as well until she found Ashtanga finland112Yoga, which transformed her life.  In 2004, she started going to Mysore to study with Shri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy Jois and is Authorized to teach the Primary Series by Sharath R. Jois.  Bela is dedicated to Ashtanga Yoga’s traditional style as taught by Guruji and Sharath.   She follows the firm belief that the method is
actually the “teacher” and the best teacher is one who inspires students to “practice, practice, practice.” Bela is currently based in

Rovaniemi, Finland, where she has opened her own shala Ashtanga
Yoga Rovaniemi.

GETTING HERE AND AWAY:

By flight via Helsinki to Rovaniemi or Kemi or Oulu.

By flight to Helsinki and from Helsinki to Rovaniemi by train or by bus.

 For you to register;

A non-refundable deposit of 300Euro is required to secure your booking. Upon registration you will be sent more information about how to get to Finland and to Rovaniemi,  and what to bring with you, ect.
